Watch any softball game and you will see this


Seems like this has become the norm, like not calling traveling in basketball. It doesn't matter until some ump starts calling it and for most pitchers this is "muscle memory" and they can't just stop doing it mid-game without it affecting their pitching.

Those are my thoughts.
