If it's a state maintained road can they really tell you what you can or
cannot put there. It's like the automobile limits they try to impose by saying no parking on the street. It is not really enforceable since the HOA doesn't own the street.
I personally hate street parking in neighborhoods where if they would give people a slither more of land they could get a wider driveway to house all 4 or 5 cars for each family member but it is what it is. Thank goodness I left that HOA nonsense once the kids graduated.
