It isn't a scholarship limit issue, it is a team balance issue.


If we were to take all of them that would give us 7 frontcourt players (for two positions) and only 5 backcourt players (for 3 positions). That is backwards and not feasible. It doesn't matter how many frontcourt players want to come to VT. We need at least 6 backcourt players. Preferably 7. That fundamentally limits the number of frontcourt players we can have on the roster.

That said, if Camden can play a wing position that changes the math.
