Here's the write up of the game that will live forever in Hokie hearts

It was Sunday, May 18th, 2008 and the Hokies were trailing Tennessee 1-0 in the winner-take-all final of the Knoxville Regional when the rains came, prompting an hour delay in the game.

The rain stopped and as the teams were warming up to resume play, the Tennessee PA system played Enter Sandman and the Hokies went crazy. The first VT batter after the delay smacked a 2 run home run and the rest is history.
