Gus’ original plan was to have the Salamanca’s find and kill Nacho - which is why Mike wouldn’t answer Nacho’s phone calls - The Salamanca’s however want him alive so they can determine who hired him to kill Lalo - Mike hated the whole plan and hates betraying Nacho which is why is wouldn’t let Gus bring in Nacho’s father
