Virginia Tech certainly has its own swagger at times over the years


A swagger that beat Miami, Florida State, Alabama, Texas, Carolina, Arkansas, etc. there was also the swagger that beat Ohio state.

But there is also Big Ten swagger. Penn state has it. Michigan has it. Ohio State has it. They all have it. Maryland and Rutgers are developing it.

I think it’s a demand for excellence that Pry brings to Virginia Tech that has been lost the last ten years. Beamer lost it in the end. But Pry knows the swagger Tech had in the 90s. He also saw and was part of a demand for excellence at Penn State, particularly out of paterno’s scandals.

It’s not a we’re really good, but can’t ever be that good feeling. It’s a demand in one’s self that you can be better then you ever believe you can be.
