I don't share GCHokie's opinion but he was set to do a prep year...

...and Nebraska and Wake were in desperate need of a point guard and both pushed him to class up. For some guys that wouldn't have mattered but Carter really could've used that year. Instead he stepped into a situation where he really wasn't ready to play or ready for college and it didn't go well.

I think he will be a good player at Furman but even there it may take a little to get back on track.
