My wife's parents are close enough now, and willing to take the dog, that


we haven't paid for boarding in almost 4 years. We pay them back by watching their cat when they travel.

When we did board in Connecticut, it was probably $35 to $40 a day. A place in Bloomfield, NY (rural south of Rochester) was in the 20 to 25 range.

And for @RoswellGAHokie and @Rinoki21 . Your dogs actually LIKE going to the kennel? In the case of Rinoki, actually PULLING at the leash to go into the kennel? Ours was generally terrified.
