I think that next year's team would be better with Alleyne than without him


Alleyne is a good all-around player. He is good in most aspects of the game, but not great at any one.

With the emergence of Maddox at wing (and the incoming freshman), it is likely that Alleyne would have reduced minutes and usage next year, and might also lose his starting role. I think that most 3-year starters would struggle with that realization for their senior year.

I hope that Alleyne decides to stay after testing the portal waters, but I have no idea if he is even considering it.
