We were on a hunt for a cool VT visor for my wife, and something for my daughter...boys trips require bringing the girls home souvenirs. Found our treasures at the bookstore.

The campus and downtown was absolutely mesmerizing. AMAZING weather...tons of people out. Ate at Sharky's...great wings! 9 year old ate the bacon grilled cheese...he approved lol.

My 17 yr old kept saying...'this is so surreal...it's so amazing...hokie stone everywhere...'...for a kid that is just into football, girls and an occasional book, it was hilarious having architectural conversations about which buildings were obviously built before others. And driving under Torgersen Bridge...lol we pissed off someone behind us...had to creep under it so he could take it in.

We walked around a ton...got tired, then took a car tour....then it started dawning on him....'this place is huge'....'how do you go to class'? I pointed out all of the bikes and the scooters lol...

Saw the Drone Park (VERY COOL) and all points around. He said 'how can ANYONE take a tour of this campus and not decide to come here, if you had the financial means (which IS a big consideration).

Sadly, we missed the softball game. Everyone was tired. So...blame us...we were there last night and got the W, so instead of blaming coaches or players, blame HokieNerd and his band of donkey sons drinking in all the 'Burg has to offer. We must have been the good luck charms.

Fear not...we will be there with bells on tomorrow, and I PROMISE WE WILL WIN THE SPRING GAME!
