Not an energy analyst, just listened to 2 opposing networks-
One was a Biden cheerleader saying this was a great, amazing thing. Other said they didn’t think energy companies would bite and it’s all for show.
I really hope prices noticeably come down. I’m concerned they won’t, though- especially as the EU preps their oil embargo, which may jack up world crude even more. Summer demand may likely go up, further pressuring gas prices.
Sustained high crude prices might encourage more new lease production, but again, gas prices wouldn’t be affected for at least 6 months or more- unless increased future volume speculation drives costs down? No idea there.
Wishes and dreams / candies and nuts? Something like that.
