My question is more about Emma giving up 5 against weak bats.

UVA statistically is one of the worst hitting teams in the league. Emma handled Clemson, Central Florida, FSU (yes, without the BS calls), etc. Seems odd that UVA would trip her up. Their batters have shown a propensity to really struggle against good pitchers.

This UVA team has been playing way over its head in both games so far. Not sure why. Pete said we weren’t that great in practice on Wednesday. Losses will humble you way more than marginal wins (ie, yesterday).

If I were a betting man, I probably call a VT run rule tomorrow. Things tend to even out over time.
