Costco croissants....
...like all American croissants, edible but fairly lame, lamer for sure because it's Costco baked/bought/whatever. 3 years ago I visited Italy and flew in via Air France to Paris. That's how I realized how magnificent a croissant could taste, on the plane no less (airline food?!?) In Italy, even better, it was a morning staple for two weeks. Back in the USA, wretched imitations, no thanks. Of course almost all food in Italy was better than here. USA Italian restaurants bear no resemblance to real Italian restaurants and if you know one that does PLEASE advise.
