Wow, what a GREAT night at Tech Softball Park!


It's always nice to beat the Hoos, especially when it's 13 in a row and 18 out of 19.

BUT the highlight of my evening - maybe the season, was getting to meet and hang out with Arthur, the Hokies biggest fan.

In the 5th inning, I noticed that he and his parents were down front, so I went down and said "hello." Arthur and I started cheering together, and the next thing you know, the Hokies have scored 5 runs and the rest is history. We celebrated by leading the crowd in a "Let's Go Hokies" cheer. A HUGE thank you for all who participated.

I don't think I have ever met anyone so very special. After the game, both Coach D'Amour and Keely came up to see him and Keely told me that he sends the girls videos just about every day.

What a special young man!
