I have a friend who just retired from Dominion Power who claims that lithium mining (and the preferred brine method) making strip mining for coal seem like PARK Building! He said entire villages in Central America are wiped out because they are contaminated, water id toxic, and nothing will grow.

THIS is one of the dirty little secrets of EVs (and battery storage systems in general) today.

Hydrogen can be made as safe or safer than gasoline..and the technology is already viable and ready to go!
