First off, I am VERY impressed with coach Mike Lewis - he can't be that old but he presents himself VERY well and seems very genuine and down to earth. He for sure has a BRIGHT future! Great to have Chip on there as well although it would also have been nice to get a bit more of a "Chip story" for those who don't know all about Chip and how he came to be the "adopted grandfather" of VT softball. All in all, listening to coach Lewis and Chip speak just reminds me again why I have become such a huge fan of VT softball as well as a big fan of Chip and his story and I feel fortunate that I started to pay attention to things late last year and jumped on the bandwagon! Exciting and fun times for sure!
