Interesting info on Dr Dot Richardson, ortho surgeon and head coach


of Liberty. Former Vice Chair of President's Council of Fitness. Former UCLA shortstop and 2X olympic gold medalist. She left potential political career as a mayor to taking head coaching job at Liberty in 2014. She got the brand new stadium. She had been removed from softball for 14 years since 2000 olympics, had no head coaching, no assistant coaching experience, but Liberty hired her out of nowhere. She went from ortho surgeon/medical director to softball head coach.
