So Fu coached up Beamer's 2016 players as well? from 5-6 wins to 10?


Beamer did not leave depth - read CCs recent Q&A.

There were more star players available in Fu's first year than there will be this year - which, with an exception or two (Jerod) were also available in Beamer's last year or two.

I was ready for Fu to be gone too - he just wasn't getting it done, but you can't say that a "successful" year this year is ALL due to Pry's coaching unless you also give Fu credit as being better than Beamer was (in his last few years) in coaching up those players in 2016 - or you lose all credibility - you are just picking what matches your point of view.

The situations are the same. New coaches are in after several bad seasons in a row. They both get the credit, or the blame, for whatever came/comes next. Giving FU credit for something that even Beamer couldn't do in his last year or two doesn't mean you wanted Fu to stay on.
