I agree that the rule is the rule,


but why did the ACC umpiring crews wait till such a critical series to start calling it on Lemley so strictly? I realize that she has gotten several illegal pitches called on her this year, but nowhere near the frequency as this weekend. The umps have done her a disservice by allowing it to go on relatively low key up till now. I do agree she has to fix it though.
