Nope... my "specific example" was about a specific point that wasn't

related to "why are people still wearing masks". It was demonstrating that mask wearing is not new or novel and was not referring to a specific person or instance. You on the other hand tried to take several specific examples from this thread (that I have not commented on) and pretend like my post was arguing for or against them. There's no reason for me to address anecdotal instances of people wearing masks and why they are wearing them or why they aren't wearing them correctly. I was never arguing that some people don't wear masks correctly. And I don't pretend to assume why someone might be wearing one in a situation where I wouldn't (unlike you).

And the only "high and mighty" people I've seen in this thread are the ones trying to mock others for wearing a mask. I believe you yourself made comments about Ignorance, fear, and intelligence. And again masks ARE effective in preventing the spread of infectious diseases so yes people wearing them are potentially "saving others" (as well as themselves depending on the type of mask). The sad thing to me is we're 2+ years into this pandemic and people like yourself are still arguing against masks and calling people who wear them "afraid". You've been conditioned just like you claim those children have been... just in a different way/direction.
