But one game he gave up this towering home run to some average Joe. It wasn’t a guy like Barry Bonds or Mark McGwire. The guy just somehow connected on one of his high fastballs. It was a moon shot.

Randy knew it right away. As the guy was rounding the bases, Randy just started laughing and actually tipped his hat to the guy. Basically saying, “Yep, that’s gonna happen about every thousand at bats.” It was more luck than anything on the batter’s part. Same thing happened to Keely tonight. Girl got the fat part of the bat out just in time and at that very moment in time the speed and rise worked against Keely for once. Same way it happened to Randy that one time.
