Guess I was one of the few rooting for Duke last night …

Have nothing against Hubert and his players. It’s everything else Tar Heel that makes me gag.

The outcome didn’t surprise me. Duke is Banchero and a bunch of slashers. Uber athletic, but lack a consistent perimeter shooter. With Williams and their other big in foul trouble, Banchero had to be the alpha on offense AND cover Bacot on D. UNC much more balanced.

Fun fact: every time I see Hubert Davis it reminds me of 40+ years ago in the Fairfax County rec league when I used to match up against Hubert Davis Sr, his dad I think. He was really really good.
