That's completely apples and oranges.

MY getting Wofford players to follow him is an easy sell. They have multiple years playing in MY's system, MY was and will be their head coach, they can compete at a higher level, etc.

Recruits generally pick a Head Coach to play for. A Head coach saying to a recruit that has already chosen that coach "come play for me where everything else is the same, AND you can play on a bigger stage" is also an easy sell.

Regarding MJ and High School recruits:
1. Competition for his high level HS players is significant and from multiples schools
2. MJ is not the Head Coach at VT
