fan, i HATE this song. It isn't the song so much as an incident I associate it with!

Well, actually, a NON -incident. I was at a party during the school day at a buddy's house (parents out of town). There was a cheerleader I was hanging who I hadn't really known before that day, but she was the kind of girl who would make you write bad checks! I was a lock. We went back in my buddy's room and turned on tunes for background. You guessed it, "Stairway to Heaven"; she LOVED that song, She loved it so much, she wanted to sing it before we got too far along..TWICE. That song is like about 12 hours long (it sure seemed). You can guess what happened. If you guessed NOTHING, you'd be right....I am convinced to this day STH cost be big that day!

Songs elicit all kinds of responses and memories, most of them good to great, but sorry Zep....just not Stairway to Heaven for me :>O
