Way, way, way too early --- so I'm absolutely not suggesting that you're insinuating this is how it is going to turn out.

In my opinion, most of the top 16 here WILL end up hosting a regional. For that matter, most of the 64 will probably make the tournament (but several will not).

What is equally likely is that few (if any) of the bracket groups of 4 will be aligned as laid out here by Extra Innings. In fact, if you would have looked at what the "experts" were saying even in the week leading up to last year's selection show, there were very few who were even relatively close to being correct. I don't recall seeing a single prediction that charted our girls as flying out to ASU.

I guess what I'm saying is "JUST WIN, BABY" and we'll be in good shape to host regionals and supers in Blacksburg. Exactly who we might face in those battles I don't know, and I think a fun game to play would be to see if anyone here can guess the other 3 in our grouping. I'm of the mind that if we got 100 guesses, if just 5 of them got all 3 teams, I think that would be extremely lucky.
