Which is why I don't get resistance to a position change


When I was in HS, my coach told me I could stay mired on the depth chart at RB or move to TE and compete to start. Not a hard decision there. Worked out as planned. I can't see why anyone would resist being offered PT to help the team. Apparently that was previously a problem.
