My FIL was a talented musician and woodworker


I was given my great great grandfather’s guitar which was in pretty rough condition. My FIL restored it to playable condition, i.e. replaced the bridge (which he made himself), re-stringed, added the sunburst pattern, etc. It now sits on my wall with some of my FILs guitars. Unfortunately he passed away from cancer late 2020.

The restored guitar is the one on the top left (assuming it posts correctly). My grandpa was born in 1935, so this guitar has to be late 1800s at the very latest, right? Anyone know anything about old guitars here?
