big deal now. For example, the 2019 Portland Regional Final was #1 Miss State vs. #2 Oregon. Another example is the 2018 Spokane Regional Final (#1 Notre Dame vs. #2 Oregon). In 2015, the Oklahoma City Regional Final was #1 Notre Dame vs. #2 Baylor. In 2013, the Norfolk Regional Final was #1 Notre Dame vs. #2 Duke. In 2011, the Spokane Regional Final was #1 Stanford vs. #11 Gonzaga. Someone tweeted a table of all the examples where that happened and the outcome of the game.
