In downtown Philadelphia born and raised
In Wells Fargo Arena where I spent most of my days
Chilling out, maxing, watching the Flyers stink
Watchin some hockey out on the rink
When one little kid, who was nice very nice
Started making trouble out on the ice
I got in one little fight, he was sent to the box
The refs said, "You can't beat up Gritty. It's just not fair!"
