The coaches would love to have those players and recruit them
hard if they thought they would come. But the way it works out with being dropped at the end of the recruitment because a blue blood decides at the 11th hour to make an offer, honestly as a coach I would want to put my resources into the best recruits I think I could actually get. McCormack and Bacot don’t demand my time if I know they are fixed on a blue blood. Maybe we shouldn’t have spent so much energy on Coleman, but he was a former VT football player’s son. Nickel we just couldn’t get into the barn when UNC decided they had room for him. Not getting Nickel hurt.
