I was only 6 at the time of that championship and not even a UVa fan - I grew up in Atlanta as the son of the Georgia Tech women's tennis coach. I didn't start caring about the ACC until GT joined in 1980. But I got to be a ball boy for GT back in the Price/Salley days - I was a bit older, and so I chose to be the visiting team's water boy (back before teams brought hordes of people and took care of those things themselves). I handed out water and towels to the likes of Jordan, Perkins, Sampson, Dawkins, Bias, and more. Amazing memories!
