The silly weak label comes from a wrong image of the past two years

The ACC had 3 schools in the Elite8 in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018, with championships in 2015, 2017 and 2019. All equals perceived dominance.

There was no tournament of course in 2020. In 2021, Duke missed the tournament for the first time since 1995, and UNC lost in the first round along with several others like VT. So that was one bad tournament for the ACC. But it looks like two+ years of ACC non-dominance to the empty-headed, media spin meisters like Finebaum and others. All a load of crap as shown, again, on the court when it matters. Suck it media pukes, SEC, and Big10.
