up on that Duke who have now "earned" their #2 seeding in the NCAA after slobberknocking Marquette and the #1 seed in the regional. All interrupted by VT who didn't get lucky and just closed the door on them.

I'll admit Duke and UNC probably played a steady state game and plan to peak in the NCAA's using the ACC tourney as a high level dress rehearsal. But they weren't expecting VT to play that well. Probably did them a good favor there, helped 'em focus, take no one for granted.
