Pitt did the same thing that UNC did last week


Started their # 2 pitcher against Keely in Game 1 saving their “ace” for game 2, hoping to steal one game.

From my preview:

In the circle, redshirt freshman Dani Drogemuller (6-5, 2.76 ERA) leads the Panthers in starts (13), complete games (7) and strikeouts (84 in 78.2 innings). Graduate transfer Ally Muraskin (4-5, 3.21 ERA) has started six games and has 38 strikeouts in 43.2 innings.

Just like UNC, the Hokies lit up the #2 early.
