No idea if that was the cause, but shortly thereafter that couple moved out, clearly separately as they alternated packing up and he dragged the wife’s stuff, including furniture, to the curb one night. I know because I was outside the next day and she returned home and tried to drag everything back. Saw her struggling with furniture and walked over to offer my help. Didn’t know either of them but hated watching her tangle with heavy furniture.

She was clearly stressed so once we were done I said simply, “Tomorrow will be a better day”. She nodded and thanked me.
