Here are the requirements....

1. Located within the Eastern Time zone
2. Population size with positive growth trends
3. Growth and diversity of population
4. Access to a large hub airport with effective accessibility to and from all ACC member schools
5. Anticipated benefit to the overall ACC brand and potential synergies to existing and prospective partners
6. Financial considerations related to operational expenses

I was hoping Farmville, VA would be the next site for the ACC headquarters. ;) All those requirements favor Charlotte. The financial considerations and related operational costs pretty much eliminate DC, NY and Boston. The SEC's headquarters are located in Birmingham, so Atlanta has a good chance.
