I watched Against the Ice last night (Netflix).

It is a story of two Danish explorers in Greenland. They left their boat tracing the steps of a failed survey. The ship's crew stayed behind. While they were on their adventure, the ship was crushed by ice. The crew salvaged materials from the boat and built a base camp. The crew was rescued by a passing ship. Later, the two explorers arrived at the base finding the hut and no one there. They lived there for two years (and gradually going crazy) before they were rescued. Not as wild as the Shackleton story, but it was an interesting story.
