Bill was a "turnaround hire." Never intended to be anything

more than what he did because we couldn't get a long term solution because of the dumpster fire we were, and the conference situation.

He had a history of doing what he did, getting a trainwreck back on the tracks. He did his job.

The problem was Dave Braine let Bill talk him into hiring Hussey and failed miserably in his last significant move at Tech. Although, we were still a tough sell to get a decent coach. The conference situation still was a wreck.
