I sincerely believe that if you're hosting a massive Zoom call it should

default to all attendees to mute. I joined a org-wide presentation today. No idea how many people were on it but it was a lot. I just assumed I was default-mute. About 10 minutes in I take my headset off, put it about one foot from the Alexa and then ask Alexa for the weather report. I'm hoping the fact that it was a foot away meant that it didn't get picked up. A couple people on my team said they didn't hear it but did say that the lady hosting said the ol' "Please be sure you're on mute" at one point.
