The power play is anemic, to top the list of problems. I think losing Hagelin on the penalty kill is the death knell combo that has the Caps going nowhere fast in the playoffs.

Still...parity. The NHL has perfected that.

Maybe we will turn the historical tables... limp into the playoffs, and be the veteran team that turns it on, and shocks everyone for a change. We certainly have played the part of the "giant" in the "giant killer" series throughout history, with all of the President's Trophy knockouts.. Let's see if we can switch it up.
