He and Mutts are both in play to come back.


They both like it here and both like playing for Mike Young very much. Mutts in particular loves Virginia Tech, too.

However, it will be dependent on NIL money. Both can make money playing pro basketball at this point, but both are very open to staying as well because they like it here very much. I don't know how much it would take. I'm guessing more for Aluma than Mutts, but that's just a guess on my part.

That's what a little birdie tells us. So now it's up to the big donors to decide whether or not they want the chance to make a deep NCAA Tournament run next year. Things will need to move relatively quickly.

To answer your question, I don't see Aluma transferring. It's either VT or pro ball.
