CMY was very interested in Ward before he committed to Xavier......


If he came to VT, he and Rice would be the 3rd and 4th highest rated recruits to come to VT in the school's history - so, yes, I think CMY would still want him and try and fill next year's immediate need for post player(s) another way.

BTW - Maddox knows he's a Jr. vs. any Fr. coming in - I seriously doubt he transfers for fear of playing time vs. a Fr.
