Not the total but, how you got there? I thought the conferences earned a unit for each original bid and an additional unit for each subsequent win which would be 5+1+4+3 to total 13. They also have the potential to earn 3 in the round of 16, 3 in the round of 8 and 2 for the semis resulting in a maximum haul of 21 (no units are awarded for championship game), that is if I am interpreting the rules accurately. A solid performance for the conference was needed as some big unit years have and will be dropping off that six-year moving total.
