D follows Cattoor all game too

Familiarity of opponents does that. Opponents of St Peters are learning as they go. Cattoor has been a known threat & focus of defenses for a while now. Any opponent who helped off Cattoor into the lane wasn’t following the scouting report they got caught following instinct

Disciplined defensive teams like Texas, UVA & yes even Clemson didn’t help off him

Duke had that in game plan but has too many inexperienced guys who lose discipline in their D scouts. It’s not coaching it’s the experience level of the players (that’s why Pedulla & Maddox took a while to get more PT gradually thru the year). Pedulla & Maddox still aren’t great in rotations or vs screen & rolls although they’ve improved their on ball D dramatically
