I agree after the "illegal screen" call at the 12:45 mark in the second
half, our psyche crumbled. Their was nothing illegal about that play except the whistle. I rewatched the game and there was not one call on Texas as egregious as any of the 3 on Aluma. They handcuffed our leading scorer..who knows why, maybe just pure incompetence. After that 3rd call, the Texas lead ballooned to 15+ points. If we could have kept the score within 6 to 10. The little run under 4:00 may have accomplished something. I'm not saying CMY should have, but most coaches would have been T-eed up after those type calls. Someone explain why it took so long at the monitor and the consultation with the 3rd referee to make the flagrant call on the foul against Pedulla. It wasn't a close call.
Sometimes it's good to do a little research and ask "why" like Buzz did the other night.
