1. Their computer ranking was in the 50's, and VT has to beat a team like this to make the sweet 16 anyway.

2. You have to properly scout your competitor and prevent them from playing to their strength (eg: 3pt shooting).

3. You can't have 3 time as many turnovers as your competitor, have more than half your points scored by 1 player, and shoot a lower percentage on threes and FT's.
