Huh? Offenses don’t move to power formations to suit VT’s D choice


I don’t really think VT needs more linebackers because I think what we’ll see is a quasi-hybrid 4-2-5/4-3-4.

What VT needs is capable, versatile LBs, i.e. LBs who can cover in space like a safety. Basically whips. VT moved away from the whip position in part because they didn’t have guys with that skillset (on the field, not on paper).
