in my clear bag (blankets, coats, big "wallets"). I've had friends turned away for carrying something the same size as something in my clear bag with difference being they were carrying it instead of toting it in a clear bag. I've even taken a huge fabric tote in all folded up in my bag and then used it to more easily carry blankets and things I either hand carried or stuffed in the clear bag to get inside. They DO look for food, beverages, weapons, inside the bags though. Those things are covered in the list of things not permitted at all.
