It was splitting hairs at the end. Michigan’s schedule put them over the


top. They weren’t great by any measure and being left out would have been warranted, but they had as strong of argument as anyone. Do they go 17-14 playing aTm’s non conference schedule. No chance.

It’s not like aTm was any good. The didn’t start winning until the end of February. Even with their SECT run, they finished under .500 their last 20 games.

Wake didn’t get in because they didn’t beat anyone. 17 wins against Q3 & Q4, and then they laid an egg in the ACCT.

Besides. It was ND or Wyoming that took aTm’s spot.
