Most "experts" would have us in the top 10. As others have said well we have to at least wrestle to expectation and our hammers have to perform well. NCAA's is about your best guys getting big points. You do not earn much with a bunch of "pretty good or good" guys at this tournament like a dual (where 10 good guys is ideal). It certainly helps to chip in a few points but the value at nationals is your high end guys have to get to semis or even the finals with some bonus wins. That is where a good team vaults up. Tournament points are top heavy, 16 points for first place plus advancement and bonus means a champ gets 20-24 ish team points. A really good guy who gets 8th place only gets 3 points plus, so a huge difference. I believe our floor is roughly 14th and our ceiling is about 5th. I believe we will end up performing well and finish 8th ish. I'm knowledgeable on the team but hardly an "expert" but I hope this helps some.
